Official Rules & Regulations – Lodi Basketball Tournament

I. DIVISIONS & TOURNAMENT FEES

II. FREE AGENT FEES

Individual players without a team may register as free agents and will be combined into one team per division, subject to a minimum of 10 free agents to form a team.

III. AGE ELIGIBILITY

Proof of age is required for all players. Accepted documents: birth certificate, valid ID, or barangay clearance.

Players are free to join and play in as many divisions as they are eligible for.

IV. PAYMENT

1. A 50% deposit of the tournament fee is required to reserve a team or player slot. The deposit is non-refundable.
2. The balance must be paid in full before the tournament starts.
3. For free agents, the 50% deposit is also non-refundable — unless the minimum of 10 players is not reached and a free agent team is not formed, in which case the deposit will be refunded.

V. ROSTERS & SUBSTITUTION

1. Pasarel rule: Substitute 5 players every 5 minutes during the first half. Second half is open substitution.
2. Up to 20 players may be listed on a team roster; a maximum of 15 players may suit up per game.
3. Once a team roster is submitted, changes may still be made at a fee of ₱1,000 per player.
4. Rosters are frozen once the playoffs begin — no further changes allowed.
5. All teams must submit complete player information, including height, birthday, and position(s).

VI. UNIFORMS

All players must wear proper uniforms. The jersey number and player name must match the submitted lineup. Players with a non-matching jersey number, name, or team will be charged a ₱500 penalty before being allowed to play.

VII. PENALTIES

All penalties (roster change fee, jersey violation penalty, etc.) must be paid before tip-off — otherwise the amount doubles.

VIII. AWARDS

Champion teams in each division will receive trophies.
